About the brand
Saturday 10 September at 15:00 DRS22 started, at the same time as the opening of its home; AB4, Abraham van Beyerenstraat 4 in The Hague. DRS stands for Design Research Station. 22 is about the optimal number of people directly involved, including the three initiators Renate Boere, Ed van Hinte and Jan Konings.
DRS22 offers temporary space in The Hague to emerging creatives from different disciplines to collaborate on shared research projects and at the same time develop their own practice.
The projects are related and are about light construction, design of public space and communication. Participants explore new possibilities. They apply acquired knowledge and experience in practice. On invitation, specialists, but also the public, contribute in various ways. In doing so, they give rise to reflection and contribute to the maturation of ideas.
